The Truffle Farm, established in 1999, is a unique 40 acre farm located in Parksville. Much of the property is used to cultivate Garry Oaks and Hazelnut trees, which are inoculated with the spores of the Black Perigord Truffle and used to produce the highly sought after mushroom for direct sale and use in value added products
In addition to growing truffles, the landholders also breed Lagotto Romagnolos, a breed of dogs that has long been used by truffle harvesters in Italy!
This landholder is looking to make up to 10 acres of their property available to a farmer with a strong business plan and a love for regenerative farming practices!
