My rough plan is to develop a market garden-style system that includes diversified vegetable crops and bush fruits. In consideration of space I would also be interested in incorporating small livestock (e.g. poultry, rabbit, etc.) as the farm develops.
My target markets are direct sales at farmers' markets as well value-added products (I have access and connections to a commercial kitchen).
My experience is with organic practices so I would ideally continue in that style, even if the land isn't certified.
I am flexible to work with a landowner to find an arrangement that suits both of us, and I would be happy to have them take on a mentoring role as well as I still have a lot to learn.
