Farm Project Description
Organically grown fruit and vegetables. Looking for land that would support profitable growing beginning in spring of 2026. CSA and market garden business style. Value added products like pasta sauces and fermented foods in jars. Growing a variety of vegetables, but a focus on tomatoes and herbs, lacto-fermentable vegetables.
Sold on roadside farm stand/shop, at local markets, and potentially wholesale.
Permaculture techniques would be used, existing orchards or fruit bushes would be a major plus, but I have a vision for building a food forest area (mostly fruit and other perennial plants,) as well as an vegetable garden area. Potential for keeping laying hens free range within orchard area, and space for other animals in future years.
