We’re looking for a farming family to join us at Cottonwood Rose Farm — a vibrant 46-acre property in Black Creek, nestled between forest, fields, and community. Our dream is to welcome a family (ideally with school-aged children) who are ready to put down roots, grow food, and share in a culture of land stewardship, learning, and community. What We (COULD) Offer Housing: A fully set-up tiny home on the farm, suitable for year-round living. Land Base: Fields, forest edge, and pasture available for cultivation, rotational grazing, food forests, and perennial plantings. Community: A dynamic land-based learning program with local families, children, and educators onsite. Shared infrastructure and energy for collaborative projects. What We’re Looking For Farm Vision & Business Plan: You have a clear plan for an organic market garden and diversified farm enterprise, with goals like: 30+ member CSA Mixed vegetables, fruits, and meat Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) grazing practices Permaculture and food forest integration Family & Lifestyle Fit: School-age kids who can thrive in a rural, community-based learning environment. Community Mindset: A willingness to live and work in collaboration with others, contribute to shared projects, and bring creativity and care to the land.
