    Yes - As an artist musician farmer, I tried to tie in workshops using creative entertainment art shows and songs. I have my own 9’ x 16’ Bunkie with wood heat and solar so I just need a yard on a farm where I can be left alone to do my work.

    Farm Project Description

    I use my farm space to display simple examples of agrarian, self efficiency, embellishing, workshops with art, shows, music and lectures. I have a masters degree in education, a bachelor of fine arts, and 23 years experience working at a vet clinic running my own farm.

    If I can expand the area that I’m situated in, I can do walking trails and plant identification using my line-based learning skills from my masters of education in aboriginal, social and ecological justice. I’m also an elementary Cree language, speaker, who can relate to indigenous, lifestyles and culture without trying to be an indigenous person myself I am second generation Nordic settler.

    • Poultry - Broilers - Again, I only want a few. I’ve always butchered my own chickens, all my life, and can easily do demonstrations for younger farmers, who are wishing to be more self-sufficient.

      Yes - I can get extra insurance, but with my community futures experience, I find that being involved in that process, usually reassures the landowner that I’m a capable person, and that my own liability insurance without getting extra insurance on top of that is enough I’ve always insured my vehicles, my land, and my buildings on my private insurance
