Farm Name
Fruits and Roots Farm
Farm Project Description

I am looking to start a small-scale market garden to begin my farming venture. A goal of mine is to focus on quality over quantity and using regenerative, soil building practices, while working towards an organic certification. To begin with I am looking to focus on high value, high turnover crops as I would like to develop direct to consumer sales channels by attending local farmers markets, as well as starting a weekly distributed subscription. Once more established I plan to introduce a CSA and wholesale partnerships with local restaurants. I have a mission to grow nourishing organic food that supports healthy families, strong communities, and a more sustainable future. I hope to have the opportunity to expand the operation in the future depending on local market demand. With my experience in gardening, orchard care, and animal husbandry I am prepared to adjust my business plan depending on the opportunities that arise.
