The first 5 acre section is a flat pasture with rocky soils and established grass and the lower-lying ~5 acre section is a bit uneven with several small stands of, but very few rocks and clay-ey soils that retain water throughout the summer.
Description and historical use of land available for farming
This property, which is a historic farm, has been in the landholder's family since the 1960's and over the years has been used to graze cattle and grow hay, as well as cultivate gardens and heritage fruits and nuts for home consumption. The lower field has not historically been used for farming but, with few rocks and excellent water holding capacity, has potential for vegetable production, while the upper field is a flat, established pasture ready for a small livestock operator.
