Farm Project Description
Nimble Nest Farm creates wooden structures and furniture made from locally milled trees.
We optimize each tree for the least amount of waste: the lumber, fire wood, mulch, kindling, oils/scent, fruits/nuts.
As the property gets first cleaned, then selectively (slowly) logging, to harvest mature or sick trees, the land would be replanted with diverse, producing trees like fruit, nut or hardwood trees.
Once those trees are established, they would grow under-canopy crops in order to become a self-sustaining food forest.
Among this food forest and well kept grounds, Nimble Nest would exhibit and rent its Zonohedron shaped structures. A greenhouse, a sauna, a cabin...
