State of the surface of the cultivable area
The primary production field is flat with a relatively uneven surface and has perimeter drainage. The adjoining orchard is also flat, with drain tile and several rows of mixed fruit trees (pears, apples, and plums)
Description and historical use of land available for farming
This property was purchased by the current owners in 2002 and over the years has been rented out to several farmers who have predominately operated mixed vegetable farms on the property; however, past tenants have also raised chickens and pigs on site. Since 2017, there has not been any agricultural production on the site, but fields have been kept mowed and the landholder has assumed responsibility for annual maintenance of the orchard.
