Description and historical use of land available for farming

Nestled in the historic agricultural community of the Mt Newton Valley, this property was originally home to a daffodil farm, before being purchased by the previous owners, who operated an herb farm for several years. The current owners purchased the property in 2014 with the goal of establishing a space to grow food and teach permaculture courses. Since then, this property has been home to a variety of land-based projects including a food forest established by the landholder, as well a market garden and small meat rabbit farm operated by the previous tenant farmer
