Chris & Tommy's Garden
Farm Project Description

There are several vegetables that oriental people especially love. Those market is huge in Canada among Koreans. In Greater Vancouver, there are 4 farms that Korean people operate, but none of them grow those vegetables that I planed to grow. If I can produce more than those can be consumed in Greater Vancouver, I can sell them to every Korean food supermarket and restaurant in all parts of Canada. If I still have some inventory left after sell them in Canada, I can export to Korea. The price of the vegetables like dried bracken or goatsbeard can be sold for $40-$45 dollars in retail in Vancouver, but if it goes to Korea, it's price is about $75 dollars per pound. Most valuable merit for growing those vegetable is that we don't have to plant them every spring. They are all perennial plants. 1. Bracken-can harvest every week from the mid April to mid Aug 2. Goatsbeard -in April and May-3 to 4 times 3. Other plants -the same as goatsbeard *Easy to grow those vegies and harvest. *I'd like to concentrate on bracken and goatsbeard for now. I will try other vegetable after I settle above two items first.
