Fraser Fig Farm
Farm Project Description
My plan for 2027/2028 is as follows:
Propagation: I am currently propagating 100+ identical 'Desert King' cloned saplings using 1-gallon pots via low-risk outdoor tent methods.
Farm Model: I intend to transplant these into a 0.5-acre plot using low-head bush/espalier training. This will keep the trees under 2 meters to ensure a 100% safe, ladder-free U-Pick (Pick-Your-Own) experience for families.
Revenue Split: High-hanging premium fruits will be hand-harvested for high-end local restaurants and social group-buying, while lower branches will serve the urban U-Pick community.
