Vega Farms Limited is a planned, owner-operated, soil-based market garden serving Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We are seeking a small parcel in Fraser Valley to launch a staged 2027 vegetable operation.
We plan to sell once weekly through one farmers' market and to small local business buyers. Planned Crops include Green leaf lettuce, romaine/butterhead lettuce, baby leaf lettuce, green onions, flat-leaf parsley, cilantro, red radishes, fresh beets, rainbow chard, spinach, arugula, garlic, snap peas, Turkish sweet peppers. Our system uses succession planting, crop rotation, cover crops, zoned drip irrigation, low-input integrated pest management, harvest and lot records, and post-harvest cooling.
We are looking for a stable and respectful lease relationship and will maintain the land responsibly.
