Currently there are eight irrigated rows that are 50' long by 36" wide with 30" walkways in between. More rows could be added if walkways were reduced. The area has had organic amendments added in the past 3 years. It is deer fenced. Irrigation drip lines, including replacement lines, are included.

Description and historical use of land available for farming

We carved the garden out of a pasture that had been used for cattle and horses. I have planted cut flowers there for the past 3 years but am scaling back.

I would like to see the land farmed organically for food or flowers. I will continue to grow some vegetables and flowers on my half of the garden but need to downsize but do not want to see the other half - the one available - to go to weeds.

Yes - wildfire is a constant threat in this entire area. Flooding isn't even a remote possibility

Yes - My husband and I, who own the property, live here

No - the young agrarian (or old agrarian) can keep farming tools here but there is no storage shed available

Yes - deer fenced around the entire garden

Yes - small rototiller and tilther may be borrowed. We have a tractor we will use if necessary but fencing around the garden is a bit tight for the tractor to do much.
