The farm will use intensive market-gardening methods, season-extension greenhouses and efficient irrigation to produce exceptional-quality food for direct local markets. Sales will be primarily through farmers’ markets, restaurants and direct farm-gate retail. The operation is being designed as a professional, long-term commercial farm, beginning with approximately two acres and expanding production progressively as the business develops.
