Long-term goal or vision for land
We are interested in being excellent stewards for this wonderful land. Listening to the land and acting in accordance with its best interests and the well being of all. The land has great potential--and is recovering from the clear cut and neglect by the previous owner's children after he passed away. On our side of the property we are planning to hold retreats in the barn and around the 2 ponds near the barn. There is plenty of space for camping and we would like to have a communal kitchen, outdoor shower, and composting toilet in the center of the property. We would like to have a collaborative relationship with whoever is in the other house and have them utilize the back corner of the property for growing food (we don't have the expertise or capacity to do that aspect). We would be interested in creating community that--with the right people--could include shared visioning and projects, sharing of labor and land based resources, collaborative community events like workshops, drum circles, movies/music in the meadow, even shared meals, shared childcare--whatever would feel joyful, relevant, and mutually beneficial.

Yes - There are 2 homes on the property. Myself, my partner, and her 14 year old are in a 3 bedroom house at the other end of the property

Yes - There's an out building/shed between the house and field. There's a barn near our house that is being made into a retreat center

Yes - The property is fenced but the field is not fenced. There is a small fenced garden next to the house.
